December 26th, 2006 by Todd Mace in Religion

Have you ever wondered how many god’s people worship or have worshiped throughout the ages. This link gives a great table of reference of the many god’s. It makes you wonder how and why each god made it into society. If we understand the many religions or worshipping of other god’s, then maybe we can introduce the only true God.

Being A Good Christian?

December 17th, 2006 by Todd Mace in Religion, Weblogs

I’m sure you have seen the Apple commercials that compare the differences between the Mac and PC. They are very simple and postmodern. They seem to be reaching a wide audience, which is why there are many who are dubbing the characters and modeling other things, besides computers. The best ones, that I have seen characterize the differences between two different types of Christians. Watch the video’s and see which character you think you reflect the most. Hopefully, you will see one reason why the world view’s Christianity the way it does. I will be doing a sermon on how to be a better Christian on December 30, 2006 at Grottoes Adventist Church, I will post a link to the video for those that can’t make it.

God’s Computer

December 15th, 2006 by Todd Mace in Religion, Web/Tech

A recent "Time" essay looked at what God’s computer might look like. Of course he is running a Mac, he needs something dependable. Take a look at this photo and see if you recognize any of these e-mails. I bet our Prayers are very similar to these, its a good thing, that God doesn’t have a SPAM filter.

If you would like to have a presence on the Internet then I have a great little site that combines the best of wikis, blogs, and forums together. The service makes the setup process very simple for the novice user, but gives the advanced user a lot of flexibility. This would be a great site to test out ministry idea’s or bring together a church group for discussion or collaboration. The best of all it’s all FREE! Check out "Wetpaint"

Wireless Love!

December 2nd, 2006 by Todd Mace in Web/Tech

If you have a Wireless Access Point in your home, whether secure or unsecured. I have a great way to minister in your neighborhood. Instead of leaving your SSID set to “Linksys” for an example. Why don’t you change it to “Jesus Loves You” or put it as your favorite scripture. When those war drivers pass by or your neighbors connect, then they will see what your broadcasting. If you have other examples of a great SSID, put them in the comments.
